Polyurethane Concrete: Transcanada Brewery

Transcanada’s new venue was an old slab, with extensive repair required. We stitched joints with a combination of fiberglass weave and epoxy and epoxy mortar.

The floor then had to be sloped to drains , which we accomplished with a well planned out sloping map. This would allow the final floor to have perfect drainage from the continuous washing it will require.

Finally, we mixed and using screed boxes and power trowels, placed and finished the Flowcrete Flowfresh HF at 1/4″. This robust system is primer-less and doesn’t require a sealer. Its a workhorse! This floor is anti-microbial and will withstand continuous temperatures of 250 degrees and intermittent of 450.
