WINNIPEG, MB: TCF West Inc., a premier provider of commercial and industrial flooring services, has recently been awarded a major contract at Portage la Prairie’s new Portage Regional Health Centre. Custom flooring will bring the $450 million project, which is being managed by general contractor PCL Construction, one step closer to completion. For TCF West, the project will involve custom terrazzo work, including precast terrazzo stairs, as well as the installation of resinous flooring and traffic coatings.

When completed, the Portage Regional Health Centre will be a 114-bed facility with an expanded emergency department. It will allow residents of the growing Southern Health-Santé Sud region to access much-needed medical services without travelling all the way to larger urban centres.
